Anyways the only 1 other thing what I have observed in SE walkman phones when compared to other music phones is battery backup but this is what I say 'whats the use of basket full of apples when they are not tasty' this is what happened in earlier days (non-android days) with other brands, they had every feature what SE has infact more than that but to what extent is the user delighted with these features ? I am not saying this just because am a big fan of SE but I have closely observed other phones and their users too. Camera quality is too good (Yep I agree autofocus would've been an added advantage now comeon SE has a clear 2 seperate segments to concentrate on music and pictures - Walkman and Cybershot phones). This was my first ever phone that I bought with all passion (to gift it to my GF and I gifted she felt very happy and respected it the way I do, and I still have it :-) ) this was long back in the year 2007 during that time Walkman phones from SE were symbol of MUSIC lovers, after this one I bought many SE phones W700, C902, K850, Xpreria X10 (I still have all of them :-) yep in working condition) all these phones have set a trend in the market where competitors were busy trying to impress with phone models and features just to put on their specifications but are not worth experiencing, now best points about SE W850 are 1. i bought it in 2012 at Rs.1500 and i m proud to have mobil like this. Nice phone 2truly.will have been better if tit had a wlan. I use it as in write this comment.what lovely phone.Just the battery power is below par. Speaker is ok but not hearing the voice of caller. Sony Ericson w850 is well choice but now after few years my plronblem is :
A mobile device is as good as its battery.
Battery lasts a good 3 days of moderate 2 hours usage paired with a blue tooth headset device. In this day and age where costly androids galore with less than half a day battery worth this one has a battery stamina of a great champion. This mobile phone is a brute of a phone! All the basics covered including the infra red which is a rarity these days and in true sony walkman class! It may seem to many to be a period piece but i beg to differ.

I successfully added 8Gb micro sd card memory with a memory stick pro duo adapter and it works like a charm! Hi to all! Sony Ericsson W850i can support memory card of 8Gb capacity. But my w850i phone sudntly soptted memory stick reading that insertted since date i purchased it. Since 2006 i one of sonyericsson w850i users that still work proberly and it's very good and best for every phone users to have it. W850i in 2009 w995.anyday anytime,that name `sonyericcson' i respect it so eat company with best mobile designer. believe me you can't have good experience on any phone without sonyericcson Walkman phone.i bought w550i in 2005 in 2007. some cracks on the buttons but wow, it has not failed me until now. Nostalgyīest sony ericsson fone i ever had. Hi can anyone help me i bought a sony ericsson w850i at a car booty got home and found out it is looked can u help I'm now using it as a backup phone, and it work smoother than my LG G2 (on basic function, of course).ĭo you know where you can buy one? Still working fine since I bought it from 2008, speaker is loud and clearly, my love! Light crack on the control butons but does't make any function problem. :'(īought this phone once released, I really loved it but it only lasted for 1+ year :( I loved it and it never broke on me, but the headset you had to use since there was no headphone jack broke like 4 times because I used it as my main music player. Cost me about 350 euro if I'm not mistaken. I had this phone for 3 years or so, maybe 4. It has a similar shape to the Nokia 5300. Vibration Downloadable polyphonic, MP3, AAC ringtones, composerĪnd I guess the SE W830 is the equivalent to the Nokia 5200 :D
